Biography

William H. Thompson (July 8, 1913 – July 15, 1971) was an American radio personality and voice actor, whose career stretched from the 1930s until his death. He was a featured comedian playing multiple roles on the Fibber McGee and Molly radio series, and was the voice of Droopy in most of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer theatrical cartoons from 1943 to 1958.

Bill Thompson (född William H. Thompson), var en amerikansk radiopersonlighet och röstskådespelare vars karriär sträckte sig från 1930-talet fram till sin död. Han är mest känd för rösten som hunden Droopy i de flesta av MGM:s tecknade kortfilmer från 1943 till 1958. Han var även en återkommande röst i Disneys klassiska filmer som t.ex. Peter Pan, Lady och Lufsen, Törnrosa, samt flera kortfilmer med Kalle Anka i huvudrollen.
