I can't believe how soon it's coming out. =) I'm going to be mad if he's only in one of Lois' dream scenes and then shows up at the very end.

You know that's going to happen, but they needed to show him in the trailer somehow. Otherwise, they would have to show him rolling in his grave.

HC -- CLEANSHAVEN - YES! FINALLY! For a while I thought that face will be perpetually covered by that ridiculous-looking moustache or the full beard. Nice to see it again in all it's full glory. YUMMYLICIOUS indeed.

I wonder -- was that one of the scenes where the moustache he grew from MI had been CGIed to disappear? (If so, I wish they thickened his hair a bit too. Is it me, or does the Clark Kent in BvS looked like he had thicker hair?)

I thought the dream sequence was a good way to show Superman is still in the periphery and not giving away if he's really in the movie or not. Many fans thought it was not a good move on Snyder's part to allow the early trailers of BvS to show Wonder Woman as it ruined the surprise element of her being there, so I suspect WB/DC learned their lesson and decided to keep Superman's appearance to be more uncertain.

However, I wish Lois Lane is not too much in this movie. I really dislike her character. I love Amy Adams as an actress, but I am not a big fan of her Lois Lane.

I personally, didn't mind the dark background and I didn't think the CGI was bad. I could see more attempts to 'lighten up' the tone. Most of the characters are giving away smiles and there were more jokes given out. Could this be the Whedon effect?

I wish though that they have more JL superheroes in the roster. The absence of Green Lantern is a bit disappointing. It would be cool to see him (whether it's Hal Jordan or John Stewart) make an appearance. That would be more of a great surprise than just having Superman resurrected.

Maybe, it was shot during MI6, because in September, he was wearing the same shirt at a comic book store.

That might be thrown in there as a surprise. Didn't HC hint about that, when he was in Canda filming Nomis?

The trailer starts good, but then things go south. Awful CGI! And many jokes and smiles like Marvel. Bah!

But I'm pleasently surprised to see Cavill. He looks slim and his shirt looks big. He's still all kinds of ...licious tho.

Why the F**K is Henry going to NY then China for JL Premiere but never LA? It's pissing me off. It's been too long since I've seen him. =(

Is it even possible to look much better in person? LOL But did he talk to you? Was he close to you? Where was he? Please I don't mean to pry. I just love it when people share their encounter. A friend told me he's really tall and she's 5'8". His face is perfectly symmetrical and his voice just makes you melt inside. I hate her. Just kidding. LOL

If she's 5'8", he's not that much taller than her. I prefer not to say where I was but yes he was in my face. He has really great skin, his handsomeness is alarming.

I know. Right! He came out of nowhere and his coloring was the same as the water. He pretty much blended with the water and not in a good way.

He can't act and the director gave him too much screen time. He was chewing the scenery struggling to sound scared and in a panic. It starts at 2:50 and should have ended at 2:51.

If you’re not a comic book genre fan, I can understand why you’re not as excited about the clips as I am.

Firstly, the background music that I could hear when Commissioner Gordon used the Bat signal is quite significant and made me go ‘Whoa!’. That’s Danny Elfman’s theme for the Batman series starring Michael Keaton and the one used for the highly rated and awarded Batman animated series in the 1990s. Elfman did say in an interview he will be incorporating his theme and the iconic Superman theme composed by John Williams when Superman shows up. That would be really cool as the MOS music didn’t do anything for me.

From the trailers, I could see that they are using the beginning story of the New 52 JL comic book series of how the league came together. A storyline they used for the JL animated movie direct to DVD title ‘War’. I loved ‘War’ so it’s nice to see the basic storyline used. Only drawback is neither the Green Lantern and Shazam are around in this movie, which is sad because the banter between the Green Lantern and Batman was great in the animated movie and comic books.

Ezra’s ‘Flash’ seems more in line with the childish Flash who acted like the ‘plucky comic relief’ in the 90s JL animated series. But Ezra’s features seems so different from the Flash in the comic books or in the animated series so it’s a bit of a struggle for me accepting him. I suspect they are giving him more air time because they want to see how the audience will react to him. WB is planning to make a solo Flash movie based on the Flashpoint storyline, so they are using this movie to introduce his character more. I don’t mind his portrayal, but I’d rather wait seeing the movie before passing judgment.

I have no problem with Aquaman’s water scenes. I think he is meant to blend in with the water, and I don’t think the water is meant to be clear in some of the scenes. I think in one of the scenes, the water did come from Gotham’s harbour which I suspect is quite polluted! I wouldn’t expect that water to be clear.

My only fear for this movie is that Thor: Ragnarok just came out recently and is doing very, very well. It got good critics reviews and is doing well in th box office. No doubt there would be a lot of comparisons made with the very colourful funny Thor movie with this new JL movie which has Snyder’s dark palette.
