Apparently, not Ben Effen Affleck and fans. Sales seem to be sluggish for everyone except Gal, but even she should have sold out by now.

I guess no one is going, since there are few sell outs that wasn't Gal Gadot. HC only sold out one session.

Is the one he’s doing with Gal a separate session, or does it only mean a ticket buyer can go to both Gal’s and HC’s sessions?
Jason Momoa sold 3 sessions, so he’s quite popular.
My goodness, those prices are quite steep. I can see why no one wants to come. LOL! I must admit though, if I had the funds, I’d love to go to the session with Charlie Cox (aka Daredevil on Netflix).

It's a session that is w/both of them together for a combined price of $350.
Yes, he did.

I’m curious, do they get a cut from these photo ops, or are they paid some fixed high appearance fee for just showing up?

What I heard is the "general rule" is that they get a fix appearance fee and anything over that is their money, minus a small cut from the pic/autographs.

I can understand why some stars appear in these Comic-Cons — they’re probably instructed to do so by the film studios to promote the films (like in the big SDCC one). I can even understand why some of the stars may want extra publicity for themselves, but I don’t get why some of them would go to these photo ops for a fee when you’d think they’ve already received big bucks for their movies. I mean they’re not exactly actors or actresses who had a bit part in some cult sci-fi show/movie or has been ‘actors’ who may need the income.

I don't understand it either. On the high end, I can see them getting 50K, but that is before taxes and management fees. At the end of the day, they'll walk out with 20K for 3 days worth of work. As I said, that is on the high end and if they received less, it makes even less sense.
That's nothing to sneeze at but for a celeb of their status it is.
Here is HC pimping the con and trying to get butts in seats to this thing.

Justice League is still in the theatres, so maybe this is also extra promo/publicity for the movie.

I think another reason to tickets aren't sold out is the winter storm LI is excited to have.

It is a weird time to have these comic con. I thought they only happen around the summer and spring time.

It doesn't seem to be a problem with the one that has Chris Evans in January. He only has one event left at $495 that isn't sold out. Of course, his event is in Arizona. Still, the Long Island one was planned well in advance of anyone knowing of a storm that may occur this weekend.

HC had no answer for this.

It was one of the main questions I heard going out the theatre when I saw that movie, and when I read through comments on the internet. LOL!
I do find it amazing that WB had not tried giving him scripted answers for that question.

My guess is that there won't be a MOS 2 anytime soon, and that's why it was written like that.

Ouch! Maybe there would be...
