香港七姊妹道的得来有个传说，战前七位金兰姐妹为情集体跳海自杀，翌日七具尸体浮上了水面，往后有关闹鬼的传闻不断传出。富家女麦秋娟（向海岚 饰）是七姐妹中的一员，当年她不甘听命父亲下嫁富商，与爱郎缪莲仙（江华 饰）相约与七姊妹道自杀殉情，但天意弄人，黄泉路上一路苦等也没看到莲仙的出现，因此秋娟每年的七月都会重回七姊妹道…… 谢子堂（罗嘉良 饰）本是一名药酒厂的少东，药酒厂倒闭后他带着一家多口靠任职邮差过活。子堂在偶然认识了富家女黄玉簪（佘诗曼 饰），两人成为了斗气冤家。没想到玉簪遇上了女鬼秋娟，秋娟哀求玉簪与子堂帮忙找回一封12年前寄失了的信件。得知秋娟的故事后，也为了让秋娟能早日完成心愿投胎，两人便开始了寻找之旅。 寻找的过程中，两人的关系日渐缓和。他们终于找回了那封寄失的信，但当秋娟打开信件的时候，信内是一滩血迹，秋娟看到后又惊又悲，到底发生了什么事呢？ 辗转间秋娟不仅找到了当年的其余六姐妹，还找到了仍在世的缪莲仙，而如今的缪莲仙已经与当年判若两人，纵使莲仙对秋娟有莫大的愧疚，但终究人鬼殊途…… |
