Caseyho a Cappieho překvapí návštěva Cappieho rodičů April a Tobiase, kteří je pozvou na výlet. Casey se zprvu zdráhá, ale nakonec se rozhodne jet v naději, že se jim podaří povzbudit Cappie, aby si vybrala obor a odmaturovala s ní. Rychle však zjistí, že jeho rodiče jsou volnomyšlenkářští hipíci, kteří si myslí, že Cappie by se měl prostě uvolnit a dál si užívat studia.

Casey and Cappie get a surprise visit from Cappie's parents, April and Tobias who proceed to invite the couple to join them on a camping trip. While at first reluctant, Casey decides to go, in hopes that they may be able to encourage Cappie to choose a major and graduate with her. But she quickly learns that his parents are free-loving hippies who think Cappie should just relax and continue to enjoy his college experience.

Rusty est coincé car il a demandé à Dana de l’accompagner à la soirée des années 1980 et elle a accepté. D'un autre côté, Katherine lui a aussi demandé de l’accompagner à cette soirée et il a également accepté. Pendant ce temps, Casey doit parler à Cappie de son avenir (car il ne sait pas s'il aura son diplôme). Evan a rompu avec Rebecca après ce qu'elle lui a fait. Le lendemain, Casey rencontre les parents de Cappie et partent camper.

Rusty steht vor einem großen Problem: Er kann sich nicht entscheiden, welches Mädchen er interessanter findet – Katherine oder Dana? Bei seiner Entscheidungsfindung springt er zwischen den beiden hin und her. Das kann nicht gutgehen … Auch Cappie und Casey haben Schwierigkeiten bei der Entscheidungsfindung: Casey weiß nicht, in welcher Stadt sie Jura studieren soll und Cappie weiß noch gar nicht, wie es weitergehen soll. Auf dem Campingplatz wollen sie ihre Zukunft planen.
