Onotora Shu does not know that his foster father is a legendary professional killer. However, his daily life dramatically changes after someone murders this professional killer. Onotora decides to take over the family business and become a hitman in order to avenge his foster father. He is well prepared when he approaches Narumiya Mitsuki who is his assassination target. Despite his physical abilities as a hitman, he is not able to kill her because of his terrible timing, no matter how he tries. On the contrary, he ends up protecting her as danger approaches. The two of them who should not fall in love, have an unlikely romance.

Onotora Shu ne sait pas que son père adoptif est un tueur professionnel légendaire mais le découvre après que quelqu'un l'ait assassiné. Onotora décide de reprendre l'entreprise familiale et de devenir un tueur à gages afin de venger son père adoptif. Il est bien préparé lorsqu'il approche Narumiya Mitsuki qui est sa cible d'assassinat. Malgré ses capacités physiques de tueur à gages, il ne parvient pas à la tuer à cause de son mauvais timing, peu importe ses efforts. Au contraire, il finit par la protéger à l'approche du danger. Ces deux-là, qui ne devraient pas tomber amoureux, vivent une romance improbable.

柊（中川大志）は美月（新木優子）が葵だと確信し、彼女を殺すことに迷いを感じていた。

美月が「ハリネズミ探偵・ハリー」の実写映画撮影に向けた打合せに参加することになり、柊も同行する。打合せには、流星（鈴木伸之）が立ち会っていた。柊は、流星がまた何か企んでいるのではないかと気が気ではない。

そんな中、詩織（水野美紀）が美月の仕事場を訪れる。詩織は、柊の父の知り合いだと名乗る。詩織に京子（榊原郁恵）のことや家族について尋ねられ、警戒する美月。美月と詩織の間に、緊張感が高まる。
