Es wird Frühling im Mumintal. Die Muminfamilie erwacht aus ihrem Winterschlaf. Mumin, Schnüferl und Mumrick finden einen Zylinder, der sich bald als Zauberhut entpuppt. Aus Eierschalen werden kleine Wolken. Mumin, Schnüferl und das Snorkfräulein reiten begeistert auf den fliegenden Wölkchen.
