Discuss Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

If Agnes' earth bound Body is really dead and her, ahem, soul and or consciousness is being maintained by the Framework why is it that Ian is a killer for killing Agnes' Framework bound body?

Ian has been brainwashed and is being controlled as well as manipulated by both Aida and the Framework. Are his actions truly his own as well as representative of who he really is? When we do things in our dreams and or things are done to us in our dreams they are never literal and are symbolic. Why would Simmons (and for that matter even the audience) wish to freely interpret the Framework as THE reality when it is clearly an *alternate * state of consciousness?

It is my observation, and I'm probably alone in this that, The Rules that govern the Framework are fluid depending on the whims of Aida and the manipulation of the Darkhold. Aida was able to completely replicate consciousness to the point that the doppelganger doesn't know that it isn't the original. Simmons was transported into a dead body and re-animated it. Why can't Aida do the same for Agnes?

Good questions. I wondered about the different levels of self awareness in the characters.

What's interesting to me is how smoothly Fitz and May fit into the Hydra machine. I have a suspicion that Fitz might know much more than he lets on. Maybe he does know that Agnes won't really die and is keeping his deep cover until he can figure out how to get them all out. That does not account for the brutal torture of Daisy, though. Oh Fitz.

Personally, I have never been a big fan of Inhumans (comic reader of 40+years) and have a new dislike of them due to the Marvel-vs-Fox push of Inhumans over mutants. So I'm not overly scandalized by the anti-Inhuman thing in Framworkland. HAIL HYDRA!
