ABC has announced that the upcoming season 9 of The Middle will be the final season of the show.

Im honestly really sad. I'm glad it's getting a final season, and nine seasons is a great run. However, I still feel like it could do much more. I really thought this show was capable of doing about 12 seasons. Season 8 was a very strong season. I hope ABC isn't just pushing this show out because it's owned by Warner Bros. and not ABC.
