Drysdale buys a movie studio, Mammoth Pictures, for Jed, and the Clampetts decide to go check out their new property. At first they can’t get in, but they finally succeed. They meet Lawrence Chaplin, the head of Mammoth Pictures, who refers to Jed as a Zucker and a Roach, and Jed admires him for saying it to his face.

Because Mammoth Pictures is losing money, Drysdale decides to tear down the studio and turn it into Clampett City. The Clampetts are excited about getting a town and streets named after them, and when they go to explore their town, they come to a Western set, which they fall in love with.

The Clampetts move into the Western street on their movie studio, but Drysdale tries to stop them. He gets the Clampetts a role in a new picture about Cleopatra and Nero, with Jethro as Caesar, Elly as a martyr who gets thrown to the lions and Granny as Cleopatra. However, Elly makes friends with the lion and Granny gets Nero drunk on elderberry wine.

Mammoth Pictures is in danger of getting torn down, but Hedda Hopper wants to save it. She shows Jed the legacy of the stars of the studio, who stuck their hand prints in cement for the Walk of Fame. Misunderstanding this, Jed works to fill the prints in with wet cement.

Jed gets an honorary doctorate when he donates money to a college, and the family thinks he is now a legit doctor. However, Granny isn’t pleased with hearing that Jed is now a real college doctor because she didn’t go to college. Granny does her best to get a degree herself, but doesn’t find much success.

Mrs. Drysdale is tired of the Clampetts, especially Granny, who keeps scraping with her. When Miss Jane tells her of a beautiful movie starlet who threw herself at Jed and how Jed stopped going to his movie studio when he found out she was married, she plans a scheme herself. Mrs. Drysdale decides to throw herself at Jed to get him and his family to move away from Beverly Hills.

Jethro wants to serve his country as a 007 spy. When he is dissuaded from this, he has to decide what branch of the military to join. Granny gets him to join the Marines because she still wants to catch the whale she saw a year ago.

Rock 'n' roll idol Johnny Poke visits the Clampetts while in town to play the Hollywood Bowl. Granny's not too happy about it; she's worried Jethro will pick up his bad habits. Granny loses her temper and thinks she turned Jethro into a puppy when she says he needs to be taught a lesson.

Granny flies widow Emma Poke out to Beverly Hills to match-make with Jed. She figures she can trick Jed into marriage, though Jed finds out what is going on. However, Jed doesn’t want to marry her, and it turns out that Emma doesn’t want to marry him.

Mrs. Drysdale gets Jed to back the Beverly Hills Ballet Company, and Jed figures that ballet is the perfect way to keep Granny, who is tired of getting “butler sassed,” among other things, in Beverly Hills. Jed gets her interested in the dance just as Mrs. Drysdale gets the money she needs to save the ballet company.

Granny decides to start her own boarding house. The Clampetts put out signs welcoming any incoming boarders and advertising what they offer. When the Drysdale's new butler, Arthur Pinckney, arrives in town he thinks the signs are meant as a welcome for him so he goes to the Clampetts' mansion.

Pinckney, the Drysdale's new butler, finds no success in his attempts at molding the Clampetts into high society people. He runs out, planning to return to England. Meanwhile, the Clampetts, who think Pinckney is their boarder, are mad that he ran out on them. They decide to keep the boarding house open, but change a few things—pay up front.

When the Clampetts learn that Mrs. Drysdale is in the hospital, they decide to visit her to make sure she is doing well. Little do they know, she is there to spite her husband, and won’t leave until the Clampetts have moved away from Beverly Hills. At the hospital, the Clampetts try to make her room more cheerful while she is sleeping, even moving the bed so it faces the window.

Mrs. Drysdale wakes up to find she is no longer in the hospital but in her one hell—the Clampett mansion. After hearing she’s missing, her husband wants to sue the hospital. But when Jed and Jethro visit to return the mattress Mrs. Drysdale was on when they brought her home, the mystery of what happened is solved.

Jethro falls for a movie starlet, Kitty Devine, who is not interested in him. But when she discovers that his uncle owns the studio and could get her better roles than beach babes in surfer movies, she takes interest. While at the mansion, Kitty does her best to get Jed to notice her and tries to convince him she is capable of roles that could make her a star.

Elly gets a job at Jed’s movie studio, though Granny and Jane are against it. Both are worried about Elly getting involved in the Hollywood scene. At the studio, Elly meets actor Dash Riprock. He goes for her straight off, unaware that this is the girl he will be starring with, having been told he’ll be opposite the studio owner’s daughter, Miss Clampett.

Elly is disappointed about losing Dash to Miss Jane, so Jed and Drysdale try to fix everything. And Granny is trying to figure out why Dash is going for the plain Miss Jane instead of her gorgeous granddaughter. Another actor, Biff Steel, is set up for Elly, but, once again, he sees Miss Jane and figures she is Miss Clampett.

After seeing Elly May in a bathing suit, hippie Sheldon Epps crashes his car. When the Clampetts see this, they take him inside their house in case he is injured. He is healthy, but sticks around for Elly, driving Dash Riprock off.

Drysdale sets Granny up with an older man on the Board of Directors, a playboy who dates young, attractive women. Mr. Cavanaugh meets Granny and is not pleased with what he sees. And Cavanaugh’s original date for the night, who is described as his "dear, sweet old aunt" is set up with Jed. Of course, this “Aunt Phyllis” is no older woman; she's a young, glamorous girl.

It is the day after Jed spent the night dancing with Phyllis, and he is stiff from all the dancing. Granny is throwing her “I told you sos” at him. And when Phyllis invites him to the horse races, he accepts. When Drysdale and Jane learn of the type of woman she is, they warn Granny and drive her down to the racetrack to stop them. Meanwhile, at the racetrack, Jed and Phyllis are finding great success, because Jed can tell which horse will win.

Inspired by the movie Goldfinger,Jethro wants to be a spy.He tries to spy on Drysdale's rival banker John Cushing and his new secretary.In the meantime,Mr.Drysdale hires Elly May as a secretary-long enough for her to win the Queen of the Banker's Ball beauty contest.Jethro rigged up the truck as a,""spy-car,""and even got a hat made of solid iron.He tried to carry a secret-radio in his shoe-but it kept playing when he stepped on it.He also had an ejector-seat,which Granny made the mistake of getting on.She ended up in the trees.

Jethro is still working on being a 007 spy, though it is annoying Granny. And Elly has been crowned Queen of the Bankers Ball. Mr. Cushing is not happy about this though, as he wanted his contestant to win. Because Jethro is having more fun at Cushing’s bank, he tries to get Jed to transfer his money to the Merchant’s Bank. And Cushing sees this opportunity and tries to get that gorgeous Clampett account.

Granny demands to see her money in cash, and Drysdale tries to talk her out of it. He fails and upsets the Clampetts by accidentally throwing magazines at them, which were really aimed at his wife and her dog. He tries to make things better by showing Granny what a million dollars looks like to turn her off from the idea, but ends up throwing more stuff at her.

The Clampett money keeps rolling in as more oil is discovered on their land. And Mr. Brewster is coming out to marry his fiancée, Edythe. Granny is planning to go back home to the hills, but Jed decides to put up the cabin.

Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs visit the Clampetts and solve the problems they are having at the mansion. They cure Jethro’s hunger by making him biscuits and red-eye gravy, and the duo cures Granny’s homesickness by letting her perform on stage with them.

It is time for spring tonic, and the Countess Maria returns to meet with her good friends the Clampetts, as well as get some tonic. And after the Clampetts learn Maria is single again, having lost her husband at a party, Granny sees this as the time for Jed to make his move on the Countess.

Beatnik Sheldon Epps returns with his other beatnik pals from the Parthanon West Coffee House.Jethro is taught how to be a beatnik-and Elly may joins up with them too.Mr.Drysdale sees that the Clampetts are friends of the beatniks!

Elly and Jethro join the beatniks at the Parthenon West, and Granny tries to get them out. But her attempts fail, and she becomes a beatnik herself, after inventing "The Tater Digger,” a new dance. Jed is all for the young ones expressing themselves, but once he sees Granny dressed the way she is and acting the way she is, he changes his mind.

Drysdale tries to get the Clampetts interested in a hobby to occupy their time and to stop Jed from traveling around the neighborhood with a fix-it wagon. He shows Jed all types of hobbies, like collecting stamps and building a boat in a bottle. Jethro gets a hobby with these offers—getting the boat out of the bottle!

Leroy Lester, a longtime employee of the Commerce Bank is being forcibly retired to make way for a new computer system. A chance meeting with the Clampetts gives him an idea about dealing with Mr. Drysdale. Leroy goes back to the bank, where Mr. Drysdale's computer has now died. Mr. Drysdale offers Leroy his job back, but Leroy informs Mr. Drysdale that he will be taking an extended vacation and staying with his new friends, the Clampetts.

Luke Short's son Beau comes from back home.Granny wants him to marry Elly May,but Elly wants none of it.At first Miss Hathaway dresses her as a Hollywood siren to scare him-but he quits being scared after Elly gives him a strong kiss.Then she dresses like a dirty scrubwoman to discourage him-but Beau is glad that she can look like she does chores,too.Then Miss Hathaway convinces Beau that he should be a man of the world-and Jethro tries to show Beau how to be a playboy.it turns out that the reason Beau had come to California was to enlist in the army.

The Brewsters come to Beverly Hills to build their new home on a vacant lot they purchased, and they request the Clampetts don't learn of this. But the Clampetts are planning to move back home to the Hills. When they tell Drysdale, he reveals the secret. Drysdale tells Brewster what he has done, but explains it was to save the Clampett oil account, and because of this, he has to visit the Clampetts.

Granny is tired of Beverly Hills and heads home for the Hills. But she never makes it back home and ends up in Las Vegas. And Jethro is having no luck being an international playboy and ends up getting arrested. Granny comes back that night, but with a story to tell about Vegas the next day.

Mrs. Drysdale has a new plan to get rid of the Clampetts and add culture to Beverly Hills. She gets the Clampetts to donate their home as an art gallery. Of course, they misunderstand this and think they have to provide the art. They go on and sculpt and paint up a storm for this new art center and end up filling their mansion with their homemade creations.

Mr Drysdale wants Jed to buy a yacht & join the Yacht club. Jethro sees Mr Drysdale's captains hat & goes out to find a something similar for Jed. He returns with an Admirals uniform.! The clampetts agree to meet Mr Drysdale & Miss Jane at the Dock but get lost & end up at a navy base. They see a Navy vessel & think it's a yacht. When Jed walks up the Gangway in his admirals uniform the sailors think it's a surprise inspection. After a 'test drive' Jed decides to pass on buying the 'boat'.

Granny thinks Mrs Drysdale's astrology is Black Magic, Mrs Drysdale's horoscope says to make friends with the neighbours. Granny chases her away, but later goes to apologise & is shocked to find a Minah bird in the Drysdales house.! Granny thinks Mrs Drysdale's turned herself into a crow.!

After entering an oil deal with Jed and O.K. Oil, the Sheik befriends the Clampetts, giving Jed four of his dancing girls for wives and tries to get the beautiful Elly May as one of his wives. Jed tries to give the girls back, while Jethro tries to enjoy some of the Sheik's life, mainly the company of his beautiful dancing girls, after selling his cousin.

Jethro is a 'double nought' spy waiting for a call from 'M' so he can go on an adventure. Mr Drysdale gives him an office in the bank & Elly May is his secretary. After a visit from two other 'agents' Jethro thinks he's on his way. However the two 'agents' know Jethro's office is above the Bank's Vault & want to break in to it until the double nought spy foils their plan.!

Granny thinks Mrs.Drysdale is running against her for Possum Queen.Granny and the family put on a rip-snotin' campaign to elect Granny Possum Queen.Mr.Drysdale,in the meantime,is trying to get any city he can to hold a Possum Day parade.

Granny is wondering why her opponent Mrs Drysdale hasn't started her campaign for Possum Queen yet. When Mr Drysdale learns this he immediately starts campaigning for his wife without his wifes knowledge. Granny gets all fired up & the insults are hurled back and forth,When Mrs Drysdale finds out what's going on she goes home to her bed & stays there. Granny thinks she has been too mean to Mrs Drysdale so she pulls out of the race for Possum Queen.

The world's richest woman has her eye on the Clampett estate.

Granny asks Jethro to give her driving lessons. After the first lesson he quits & Mr Drysdale talks Jed into buying a trotter. The Clampetts just want the horse to take Granny to town when she wants to go,instead of waiting for Jethro to drive her. When a man arrives with the horse, he has the racing buggy with him. The Clampetts think it's a normal buggy without any sides or roof.

Perpetual student Sonny Drysdale returns home.

Granny and Elly head for the Ozarks to help deliver a friend's baby.

Jed gets a letter in the mail saying he has inherited a castle in England. Jethro reads up on England & Queen Elizabeth the first. He thinks that England hasn't changed in 400 years & Knights still fight dragons. The Clampetts go down to the passport office to apply for their passports & the Clerk thinks he's on 'Candid Camera' & they're actors trying to fool him.

The Clampetts think they've arrived in London when the plane stops in San Francisco. Jethro points out tower bridge & the taxi driver tells them that 'tower bridge' is actually the golden gate bridge & tower bridge is in London. They go back to the airport & resume their trip to London.

When they arrive Granny wants to re-stock her medical bag 'cause customs took all her other stuff. While in a chemist store the Chemist is quoting Shakespeare & Jed fills the bag himself. Later they arrive at the Castle.

The Clampetts arrive at their Castle & meet John Faversham who introduces himself as major domo (major domocile) Faversham. The Clampetts think his name is Major Domo & when he tries to correct them saying Faversham, they think that faversham is an English greeting for howdy.! Jethro is keen to go hunt dragons & Granny wants to doctor Jed's cousin. Faversham tells her he's no longer with us,he was taken by major peritonitis. Granny doesn't trust army doctors.!

Jed's cousin's old english sheep dog is on the bed with the curtains drawn. Granny thinks he's shy, She doctors him through the closed curtains thinking the dog is Jed's cousin. Later Granny sees the dog on the bed eating a bone & thinks the dog 'et' Jed's cousin.!! Jed & Granny bury the bones in the backyard.

Mr Drysdale mourns a cheque for $10,000,000 Jed paid to Faversham for back taxes on the castle. Jethro starts the 'war of the roses' when he chased a dragon through the neighbours rose garden. Jethro thinks he's been robbed of his birth right when Jed won't fight with the neighbour. Jethro dresses as Robin Hood & the Clampetts leave for Beverly Hills. When they arrive back home, Jethro, Elly & Bessy the chimp move out to Griffith Park to rob from the rich & give to the poor.

A hippie & his girlfriend join Jethro's gang. Jed, Granny & Miss Jane go to Griffith Park to look for Jethro. The hippie wants to try some of Granny's smoked crawdads.

Miss Jane,Mr Drysdale,Jed & Granny go to Griffith Park looking for Jethro & Elly. Buddy the Hippie arrives back at the park with all his friends & they start partying. Buddy wants to smoke a crawdad, Jethro tells him to go down to the lake & find some.

Two cops arrive while the 'Gang' are down at the lake, When the Police ask Granny what she's doing, she tells them ""I'm smoking crawdads,but first I need a little pot."" When Buddy finds a crawdad it nips him on the finger. He & the other 'Cats' split & the police go after them rather than the Clampetts.

Miss Jane & Jethro attend a violin recital.(Jethro sleeps through most of it) Miss Jane suggests Jethro takes violin lessons.

Maestro Stromboli arrives to teach Jethro to play,but Jed & Granny think its he who should take lessons. Jethro buys a fiddle from a pawn shop & asks Stromboli how much he paid for his. Stromboli tells him the high priced amount & Jethro tells him he thinks he got taken. Stromboli's annoyed with Jethro "" This is a Stradavarious...Ignoramus."" Jed invites Fiddlin' Sam Dingle to teach Stromboli how to play 'turkey in the straw' & they have a Ho Down.

Granny thinks her favourite T.V. soap opera is real. She invites the star to the Mansion because on the show he was sick & she wanted to Doctor him. When she thinks she's cured him off he goes back to work. Next day Granny sees him sick on T.V. again,so this time asks Jethro to take her to the T.V. studio because something there must be making him sick. When they arrive He's in the operating theatre & Granny takes him home so he'll get better under her care.

Granny threatens to leave unless Elly gets rid of her menagerie.

Supernatural shenanigans spook the Clampetts.

Mr Drysdale wants to make a commercial starring the Clampetts as lazy hillbillies wasting their lives at the beginning, to successful contributors to society at the end. He dresses as SuperBanker & they recite to the camera how worthless their existence was before SuperBanker changed things for them.

Cousin Roy arrives & wants to open a Hollywood branch of Mother Mabel's elixir. Granny doesn't want her old rival Mabel to be sucessful at her expense, so Granny & Jethro set up a stall on the sidewalk to sell Granny's elixir. That is until a cop arrests them for operating a stall without a permit. Mr Drysdale flys Mother Myrtle out to Beverly Hills & just as Jethro & Granny arrive home, she sees Myrtle & runs into the house for her gun.

Mr Drysdale congratulates the Clampetts for reaching the sum of $80,000,000 in his bank. Jethro tells Jed he heard on the radio that the Queen Elizabeth was sold to Philadelphia. Jed rings Faversham in London & he confirms this. Says they sold both Queens to the U.S. (However he meant the Ocean Liners,Queen Mary & Queen Elizabeth.Not the people.) Jed thinks that the Queen must be having money trouble & wants to help. He wants to withdraw his money & give it to the Queen. He's sure Mr Drysdale won't mind,it must be a worry for him looking after all that money. When Mr Drysdale hears about this he hires an actor to play the Queen's Minister of Finance to accept the money & give it back to Mr Drysdale. But things don't go the way Mr Drysdale planned, When the actor found out Jed was rich,he sold him Canada & gave him the deed to take to the Queen herself.

The Clampetts are flying to London to give the Queen the deed to Canada. Jethro smuggles Elly's buzzard on board in a bag & tells Mr Drysdale who wants to look at it. In the toilet Mr Drysdale opens the bag to have a look & the buzzard almost escapes. Mr Drysdale returns to his seat next to Jethro with feathers in his hair & flapping his arms like a bird. Granny sees this and thinks He has Goose Fever. When the Clampetts are driving through town,people are pointing at them. Granny says news has spread how they chickened out of the war of the roses last time they were in England. When they arrive at the castle Colonel Dumbarton next door fires off his sunset canon & lowers the Union Jack flag. Granny thinks he's startin'the war of the roses all over again.!

Jethro challengers next door to the war of the roses, Colonel Dumbarton accepts & they commence to joust. Jed wants to go to see the Queen & give her the deed to Canada. Mr Drysdale convinces him to stay & says he'll bring the Queen to Him. Mr Drysdale dresses Miss Jane as Queen Elizabeth the 1st & accepts the deed. Jethro is Knighted as well.

Jethro spies Col.Dumbarton's neice through his telescope.When he tells Jed to look through it Jed sees her brother & thinks it's her 'cause he (she) is wearing a dress.(scottish kilt) Jethro is in love,he wants to marry her. Granny doesn't want Jethro to marry a big ugly girl like that & eventually gets her wish.

Mr Drysdale wants to go home,but the Clampetts aren't ready to go yet. Faversham tells him about the Ghost of Clampett castle. Mr Drysdale thinks this will scare the Clampetts & they'll want to go home. Mr Drysdale tells them the story & Jethro wants to hold a seance to contact the ghost. Mr Drysdale dresses as a ghost & almost has them packing their bags until Granny shoots the 'ghost'with her shotgun & he goes howling down the hall. On the trip home Mr Drysdale has to stand all the way 'cause he can't sit down.!

Petticoat Junction citizens take Granny's potent potions.

While Granny's still in Hooterville, Jethro hires an Italian chef to do their cooking.

Granny's @ Drucker's telling him about how she used her tonic on Steve & Betty Jo's baby after discovering that Boy (the Petticoat Junction dog) was in the baby crib, wearing a baby bonnet as well. Thinking that her tonic turned the dog into their baby.

Granny sees the baby for the first time & thought it worked wonders!

Sam Drucker arrives @ the Shady Rest with a telegram for Granny. The message was from Jethro saying the family's starving & misses her. So after riding on a horse, driving a motorcycle, getting on an airplane, parachuting down to Beverly Hills, she finds the Italian cook feeding the Clampetts. Granny chases after Jethro over that phony telegram!

A temporary but tempting Italian cook stirs up a storm.

Drysdale casts Dash Riprock in a new role, that of Elly May's lover.

The hustle and bustle increases as Christmas nears.

The hillbillies celebrate the Christmas holidays in Hooterville.

Drysdale has the flu, and too many well-meaning visitors.

Jethro starts his own Hollywood talent agengy called JB Enterprises. His office, the entire 5th floor of The Commerce Bank of Beverly Hills.

Meanwhile, Cousin Roy pays a visit when a record agent heard him play back in his hometown. The gang decides to pay a visit to JB, hoping he would sign Roy. Jethro doesn't want any hayseeds as clients.

So Roy decided to pack for home until he saw Elly May in a nice dress. Roy was speechless (seeing Elly in a nice dress), he decides to pay a visit to that record company.

Roy arrives @ the Clampett house hoping to make it in show biz. Problem is, he doesn't have the money. So Jed decides to back up Roy.

Meanwhile, Jethro faces eviction from his office @ the Commerce Bank of Beverly Hills. Mr. Drysdale demands the $5,000 rent.

Jed tries to have Jethro become Roy's agent, but Jethro doesn't want any country hick acts. So he changes Roy to being part of a group.

When Roy's new act bombs, Jed & Mr. Drysdale advise Jethro to stick with country music after Roy's record becomes a hit! But Jethro tore the contract & starts begging for Roy to come back!
