I think everyone will appreciate this song with two legends : Eric Clapton and Pavarotti who died in sept 2007

He was one if not the greatest opera singer till this day

He sang with a lot of famous singers to create awareness for the poor in Africa .. his voice is like a cosy , warm blanket.

I was lucky enough to see/hear him in person. I saw him with the 'Three Tenors' in person in Vancouver on New Year's Eve 1996. It was wonderful.

I’m Italian yet I never saw Pavarotti live . I’m not an opera lover but when I hear his voice in these duos I often cry.

I have that video in my favorites but I hate (not really but...?) to tell you this, but I also saw James Brown in person when I was 13, I made my way down to the stage & he touched my hand!

I remember when I found this video, I was amazed how it just seemed so right? Although Pavarotti lived until 2007, he didn't look well in this video.

That must have been awesome and at such a young age too .. I don’t think I would have had the courage to come forth.

I’m happy for you .. I don’t feel I missed out though because I have never been to America so hence the opportunity to see him didn’t exist .. but Pavarotti.. I have no excuse.

This performance with James Brown was done in 2002 , Pavarotti was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in July 2006 and died the following year. He was only 71 .

I love the duet with Eros Ramazzotti but that’s all in Italian

Eros is an international pop singer though …I like several of his songs for the melody and lyrics but his voice is kinda nasal, whining and quite monotonous.

Those that don’t know Italian can appreciate still the melody and Pavarotti’s voice .

I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic or not (it's really hard to tell with you) but she did write a play & a book of essays (which was a collection of her columns in a Croatian magazine).
