Discuss American Gothic

Has anyone else seen this amazing show? Gary Cole plays Lucas Buck , the sheriff of Trinity, South Carolina, - but he is also the devil. A very charming, sexy and appealing devil ! It was created by Shaun Cassidy (Yes- Partridge Family!) and produced by Sam Raimi. Only 22 episodes were made, so it never got old and stale. American Horror Story has the same vibe, but I believe, not as good. Really nasty, evil stuff went down in the little town ! Hope there's someone out there who loved it as much as I did !

Just finished this on my quest to watch every Raimi/Tapert TV show. This was a big change as I was used to the Tapert headed New Zealand shows (Herc, Xena, Spartacus, etc.). It appears in the 90s, the US based shows were mainly worked by Raimi while the NZ shows were worked by Tapert.

That said, I did enjoy this show. However, it did have its issues and it's not hard to see why it didn't catch on. It was a fun watch though!

Yo, back, everyone. Awesome that you started this thread, though I'm not sure how many of us out there actually remember this one

The forgotten gems are the most priceless.

Hello! I've got this show on DVD and it is indeed a priceless little gem.
