Just watched the series finale now. Not _that _bad as an episode, IMO, but I'm kinda surprised they didn't "go bigger" for the last one. Seemed like a an average episode at best, with absolutely no sort of conclusion or closure; not much looking either back or forward in time, in short: nothing special. One could probably argue it's not that type of series, but I was kinda hoping for something a little extra I suppose -- after seven seasons. :-/
