For the first time this series, coaches Will.i.am, Paloma Faith, Ricky Wilson and Boy George have handed over control of the contest to the viewers at home, who ultimately decide which of the eight remaining contestants will be progressing through to the semi-final.

The semi finals arrive, along with the nail-biting tension associated with another round of live performances.
