I thought this show couldn't get any worse - but it managed it. Once again we have the screaming hysteria at the beginning - the tears - the sob stories - the "I am counting on you not to let me down" from the judges. On we go at breakneck speed - with contestants constantly reminding us that they were "in the military" or "in the frat house" the deliberate statements of overconfidence. Gordon swearing and throwing plates of food on the floor - the judges "disagreeing" - an obviously terrible cook winning the title (in a past series)- because diversity is the buzzword and America vibrates to pc correctness. I used to enjoy this show - but now I fast forward through it - and soon I wont even be watching it. If you want to watch a decent cookery show try Australian MasterChef - it may be fake - who knows - but at least it isn't so obvious about it.
