Poor Darrin. Due to Endora's spell, everyone hates him. When Darrin's job is on the line, Samantha wants Endora to remove the spell.

Jean-Pierre est furieux lorsqu'il surprend Endora enseignant la sorcellerie à Tabatha. Vexée, Endora lui jette un sort qui le rend détestable aux yeux de tous. Lorsqu'il commence à perdre de nombreux contrats, Samantha finit par s'en inquiéter...

In einem Gespräch mit ihrer Mutter Endora erwähnt Samantha auch so nebenbei, dass ihr Mann Darrin allseits beliebt sei. Das kann Endora nicht so einfach hinnehmen; sie beginnt zu intrigieren. Mit einem Zauberspruch und einer kleinen Klingel kann sie die Einstellung eines jeden zu Darrin ändern. Und das bekommt der Arme auch bald zu spüren. Wie gut, dass er Samantha hat, die Endoras böses Spiel durchschaut – und letztendlich alles wieder zurechtbiegt, was Endora angerichtet hat.

Darrin va su tutte le furie quando scopre che Endora sta insegnando a Tabatha alcuni incantesimi. Nel tentativo di mettere pace, Samantha fa notare a sua madre che Darrin va d'accordo con tutti e che se solo lei smettesse di provocarlo, alla fine anche lei lo troverebbe simpatico. Questa osservazione fornisce a Endora lo spunto per l'ennesimo scherzo: lancia su Darrin un incantesimo che lo rende odioso a chiunque, nonostante i suoi sforzi per essere piacevole e gentile. Proprio in questo frangente la McMann & Tate viene incaricata di creare una nuova immagine, più moderna e briosa per il sindaco...
