This is another eventful Halloween. Despite Darrin's concern, Samantha reads Tabitha an every day mortal Halloween bedtimestory. This time Darrin was right! Tabitha materializes 3 goblins out of the pages of her book. On Halloween, the magical pranksters follow Tabitha and Samantha out for an evening of trick or treat, with mostly tricks. After Samantha finally realizes what Tabitha has done, she pops all the goblins back to home: only Glady's nephew has traded places with one of the goblins. They end up turning Glady's nephew into a goat, and Tabitha ends up returning the ghouls to their rightful place.

Am Abend vor der Kinder-Walpurgisnacht hat Tabatha sich drei Gnome in ihr Kinderzimmer gezaubert. Am nächsten Tag fallen diese zunächst überhaupt nicht auf, denn alle Kinder sind verkleidet und geschminkt. Auch Samantha glaubt, als sie Opfer diverser Streiche wird, dass ihre Tochter dahinter steckt – aber als sie sieht, dass in einem Buch Tabathas das Bild mit den drei Gnomen verschwunden ist, ahnt sie, was wirklich los ist. Und dann sieht sie: Auch ein Bär fehlt in dem Buch.

E' la notte di Halloween e Samantha legge un racconto a Tabatha, nonostante Darrin sia perplesso sull'opportunità di riempire la già fervida fantasia della bambina con storie di troll e folletti. Samantha assicura che intende far trascorrere a Tabatha un Halloween tipicamente mortale, uguale a quello di qualunque bambino della sua età. Ma Tabatha non è una bambina qualunque e porta in vita dalle pagine del libro tre creature che l'accompagneranno a bussare alle porte nel rituale "dolcetto o scherzetto"…
