The Witches Council takes away Samantha's powers when she refuses to break up with Darrin. Uncle Arthur and Serena help out Samantha and, as a result, loses their powers as well. After a hellacious day in the mortal working world, Serena and Uncle Arthur decide that they are better off with their powers. Samantha goes to the Witches Council and tells them they are in the wrong for their ignorance. Then Samantha, Serena, and Uncle Arthur get their powers back.

Endora présente à Samantha un ordre du Concile des sorcières qui exige qu'elle quitte Jean-Pierre. Celle-ci refuse et perd l'ensemble de ses pouvoirs...

Samantha wird vor den obersten Hexenrat zitiert, doch diese hat nicht die geringste Lust, sich zu den alten Hexen zu begeben, um eine Standpauke anzuhören. Als sie Besuch von Onkel Arthur und Cousine Serena bekommt, erhält sie Unterstützung. Auch diese beiden haben mit dem verknöcherten Hexenrat nicht viel am Hut. Nur die traditionsbewusste Endora ist anderer Meinung: Wütend veranlasst sie, dass die aufsässigen Verwandten ihre Zauberkraft verlieren.

Il Consiglio delle Streghe non è più disposto a tollerare il matrimonio fra Samantha e Darrin e invia un ultimatum tramite Endora: o Samantha lascia il marito, o perderà per sempre i suoi poteri magici. Samantha non cede al ricatto ed è sostenuta in questa sua scelta da Serena e dallo zio Arthur che, per la loro lealtà, vengono a loro volta privati dei poteri. I due non si perdono d'animo e per prima cosa decidono di cercarsi un lavoro…

O conselho das feiticeiras resolve tirar todos os poderes de feitiçaria de Samantha por ela ter recusado a abrir mão de Darrin. Serena e tio Arthur também perdem seus poderes pela lealdade e apoio demonstrados à Samantha.
