Damit ist Jason (Chris Eigeman) ein für alle Mal aus dem Spiel. Entsetzt spricht er mit Lorelai (Lauren Graham), die daraufhin wütend zu ihrem Vater fährt und ihn zur Rede stellt. Doch Richard stellt sich stur und macht sogar Emily (Kelly Bishop) klar, dass sie entweder mit ihm im Boot sitzt oder gehen kann. Verletzt zieht Emily daraufhin in ein Hotel. Als Lorelai sich wenig später mit Jason trifft und er ihr mitteilt, dass er wiederum nun Richard verklagen will, kommt es auch zwischen ihnen zu einem derart heftigen Streit, dass Lorelai die Beziehung beendet. Rory (Alexis Bledel) bekommt eine eins auf ihre Hausarbeit und befürchtet, die Note nur wegen der guten Beziehungen bekommen zu haben. Das verneint Ascher (Michael York) jedoch und lobt sie für ihre Arbeit. Lane (Keiko Agena) ist verärgert, als sie mitbekommt das ihre Mutter eine Austauschstudentin geholt hat, die ihre Doppelgängerin sein könnte. Die Sache eskaliert, als sie auch noch ihre Kleidung trägt.

Lane vede che una ragazza coreana alloggia a casa sua e sua madre la tratta come una figlia. Dopo un concerto passa a casa per salutare sua madre. Il Dragonfly è ormai quasi pronto a riaprire. Anche Sookie torna in cucina, ma si fa male ad un piede.
