The DVD releases are not a good indication of seasons as they are simply packaged as 'sets' and different ones have a different number of episodes. For example Naruto Unleashed Season 1 (26) vs Naruto Set 1 (27) vs Naruto Uncut Season 1 (Parts 1&2 = 52).

Funimation has 57 ep in S1 Crunchyroll has 26 (I believe this is aligned with the DVD release of Unleashed)

The existing seasons will be merged in one single season at a later date, not yet defined, to correctly match the Japanese broadcast.
