Thank you for all your effort.

Even if our evaluation and grading criteria were often very subjective, and early episodes may have been graded higher when the show was a novelty, as opposed to when we were growing tired of it, I'd say we've successfully managed to separate the best from the worst.

What's the deal with all those zeroes and decimal places?

I don't know which records still exist, but now I'm curious how all our past shows would rank numerically.

@brimfin cheers for doing all that.
I was considering what overall mark I would give and the average of my scores seems a appropriate score.
Is 11 the number of shows the sages have done during your time or all time?

Actually, 24 is the total. Here is the complete list of all shows. I think 11 are recorded history. The rest are from prehistorical times.

Force of habit on the zeroes. When we do reports at work, we have to have the numbers match up with the same number of decimals. I forgot that isn't needed here. I went back and took some of the zeroes out. I also added the rankings from all the past shows that I did my "By the Numbers" on. I'll post that each time from now on.

Well, nothing is really "needed" here, but I get what you mean. I thought it had been a glitch in the matrix, I mean, some coding issue that supposedly occurred when you wrote the tags for the ordered list.

Heh prehistoric, I imagine the forum being around a fire and everyone carving their comments on standing stones grin
I would be interested to see the ratings for some of the previous shows. I really enjoyed Daybreak and I have Total Recall on my watch list so I would like to know what you all thought of it.

Yep, that's EXACTLY how it happened! Pretty much like this...

I'm afraid those records were lost when the Titanic sank.

Thanks for the information. But I'm afraid some of our best shows are behind that. For instance, Wonderfalls, Firefly, Odyssey 5, Pushing Daisies, Journeyman, Day Break. We might even consider revisiting some of those for the sake of the current generation of Sages.

Actually, they're not lost! Go to imdbarchive.com. They have all the IMDB message boards from up to a few days before the messages were all wiped. Just type in the name of the show and it will take you to the archived boards. For Daybreak, be sure to type it as "Day Break" (2 words), or else you'll get various movies and daytime news shows instead. The only thing missing as far as I can see is the emoticons. They didn't carry over. But other than that, you can watch the shows and then read the reviews and mentally compare notes with them. I did that some months back with Day Break, because mad-pac had mentioned it so often with praise. it was almost as much fun as having been there back when they watched the show.
