"Angie Tribeca (2016-)" is a police sitcom, that has its funny, silly, absurd moments, and it will certainly make you laugh, or at least smile, if you're into this kind of humour.

The show reminds me of a light mix of television shows like "Police Squad (1982)" and "Sledge Hammer (1986-1988):, and the "Naked Gun", "Airplane", "Hot Shots" and "Loaded Weapon 1 (1993)" movies, though it often falls short of really going completely over the top.

Rashida Jones plays LAPD Detective Angela "Angie" Tribeca who, together with the rest of her goofy team (the Special Division Force), fights crime in Los Angeles.

If not for Angie, Los Angeles would probably be the number one crime city in the world.
