Elizabeth's character certainly has changed since being married to George. I was never very fond of her, but she has become just plain awful this season! She's becoming more vindictive, mean, and basically just like George.

She will also become a drug addict (laudanum). I can't wait for her & George's downfall!

I know people had a hard time with how she was portrayed early on in the series; that she came off too nice. I always saw a calculating side to her and it has been blown out since marrying George. They had to make her somewhat appealing to make it reasonable for Ross to be infatuated with her. I hate her and pity her at the same time, but I have since the beginning. It has gotten more intense this season.

Yes, I am so ready for her and George’s downfall.

Never liked her, it may be due to the performance of the actress but I fail to see what Ross ever saw in her.

I watched the season 4 finale. I wasn't expecting that at all with Elizabeth. I haven't read the books, so I didn't know this was coming. It was very sad!
