Discuss Fear the Walking Dead

With Frank leaving the show does that mean they will need to work the flashbacks around his character, that seems pretty difficult?

My cousin suggested that they possibly filmed a bulk of all the flashback scenes for the season up front before they started filming the "present day" storyline.

I really liked Nick had no idea he wanted to leave. Was so shocked by Nick's death.

Me, too. But hey, it's good for Frank.

He abandoned a sinking ship.

I've liked the show since the beginning but maybe he thought with behind scene changes cast changes it was taking away focus from Clark family. Maybe the network wants to at least get enough episodes for reruns. I think they should have given Morgan his own show. Morgan just kind of wandering around meeting different people like the old shows the fugitive and the incredible hulk.

I'd watch that.

me too, I really loved his character. I am bummed.

No great loss. Remember that he stole the sick man's pain medication for his own selfish needs. Next scene there was an empty bed meaning the man died a painful death.

Stole the man's cloths in the hospital.

Got upset when Madison gave some pain medication to Daniels wife after her leg got smashed.

No great loss.

He changed from that. He evolved as a person/ character.

See I never liked him either...from the very beginning, I kept wishing he'd be one of the ones that gets killed. And now I've gotten my wish. Looking forward to the show without him. I don't get the love of this character all of a sudden. I watched the first season of it when it first came out and then stopped watching because I didn't find any of the characters likeable...then this past week I began hearing the show was getting so much better so I forced myself to watch seasons 2 and 3 and boy did I have to wade through some crap before it started getting good. Now I'm hooked on the show. Yeah it's sad that Nick got killed...but not that sad for me. Besides, the idea of no one being safe is what made The Walking Dead such a good show in the beginning...those first 3 seasons of that show were great because of that! And I kept wondering why they weren't doing that with FTWD...and now maybe...just maybe they are.

In season 3, when he supposedly turned his life around, he was scamming drugs with a cartel and gets caught stealing. He shoots Jeremiah Otto and takes over his house.

Don't give me this he turned his life around and wasn't the same junkie no count that he was when the series started.

Next: Madison.

If Madison is dead I will probably be done. I don't think a show like this works without a strong leader.

I didn't mind the Nick character. But to be honest, I really don't think I'll miss him. I think if the show continues to build on strong characters like Alicia and even Althea...the show will do just fine.

Why would you think Madison is dead?

I think they've been implying that she is dead. She hasn't appeared at all in the present storyline. Nick was so outraged at the Vultures, they must have done something really awful. Like kill his mother, or be responsible for her death.

I hope that is not the case, but they have definitely been teasing that possibility. Hopefully its just a red herring.
