Alex in "The Faithful"

I got choked up at the end. Now we know for sure why Maggie is going to be out of the picture. As a father of a daughter, everything Alex said about being a parent to a little girl...I have experienced. Surly Alex is going to go to Samantha for advice on being a single mom, and that should be interesting once Samantha goes bad. Who knows, maybe Alex will end up adopting Ruby.

I think Alex may look for another partner before she thinks about the single Mom route.

I think Samantha is going to inspire Alex to think about being a single mother. I see Alex spending some time with Ruby and seeing what a great kid she is, and what a great job Samantha has done with her. "If she can do it, why can't I?" Auntie Kara will be thrilled. I think being a mom is going to be more of a priority than finding a partner. She could not have been more passionate about it talking with Kara. This show likes to deal with issues, and although single parenting is hardly the issue it was back in the early 90s, it's ripe for the picking here. I guess we'll find out. :)
