I took care of the 2x01 stills and the backdrops. I'm not sure about upvoting the backdrops, and I think you could always resize the 2x02 stills to something smaller, like 3000x1688. Just because it's the max size doesn't mean it has to be that big.

I actually did resize and crop almost all of these stills from far bigger than 3840x2160, and I don't understand how making them smaller would solve the problem of looking blurry or not, to be honest?!? However, I took a look at the original pictures and I think they are already blurry, too. As I wrote, my eyes are not the best anymore, and I think I missed this before I resized and uploaded them. I'm sorry about it ...

I think recently in the contribution bible we decided to get rid of behind the scenes backdrops if proper backdrops exist....

Yes, at the backdrops section it mentioned:

Backdrops

• Unlike posters, 99% of the time backdrops do not have text and should be left in 'no language'.
• Backdrops with a title or language specific text should be set to the corresponding language.
• Screencaps are allowed as long as the quality is good (e.g. a Blu-ray or 4k source). However, lower quality screencaps could be deleted when better backdrops are uploaded.
• A good still represents the episode/film.
• No limit, but 20 images per episode may be pushing it.
• Cropping is allowed unless it destroys the image.
• No watermarks or logos (including TV channel logos), though an exception could be made in special cases.
• Spoilers are not allowed.
• No overly violent images (e.g. no extreme gore).
• Behind the scenes pictures are not allowed.

There's no rule against behind the scenes images, they are valid and shouldn't be deleted as long as they are of good quality. You're free to give them a thumbs down if you like. Travis has confirmed this several times.

Well, this is news to me, and obviously also news to Rebecca, and according to Marr it's also old news as of recently (read her reply above). I actually don't really care about this image, it was just something I spotted and didn't know what to do about? Do whatever you like - the image in question is this one:

There's also no rule against episode stills as backgrounds - we would have to remove a whole lot of images if there was. I personally prefer the key art type backgrounds, and in this case only uploaded them to replace smaller images someone else uploaded before the show started when nothing better was available, but if they are of good quality they should be able to remain.

That's also news to me, and I understand when you do this to "replace smaller images someone else uploaded before the show started when nothing better was available". In this case, what I don't understand are two things:

1.) You yourself uploaded 2 of the 3 images in question in a bigger format to the respective episodes when the show started:

1. small image main page vs. big image episode 1x01
   
2. small image main page vs. big image episode 1x03
   

2.) I understand that you mods would "have to remove a whole lot of images if there was such a rule", but when a user like me gives you mods a hint and asks for it and a moderator like Rebecca finds the time to make these changes, why do you invest your precious time to upload all those images again, even if there are enough other backdrops available now? Don't you have better things to do?

Off Topic: By the way, it's very cool that you added 3 more episodes to season 5 of Orphan Black yesterday with all the info you have at this time! I would have done this already, but last time I did this for another show, you deleted all those episodes and several of the other mods explained to me that I should only add 1 blank episode at a time. I don't really remember the details about this, though - maybe there were some specifics I forgot when this is allowed or not? All of these rules here on TMDb can be quite confusing, sheesssh ...

I can't imagine why he would change his mind about behind the scenes images. It was pretty recent when he said that they were allowed and welcome.

Do you know how to find that topic by any chance? I also remember Travis saying they were okay multiple times in the past, but I couldn't find proof to back me up.
