Actually, I think it would work out pretty well. She'll be surrounded by familiar people. Friends who all know the truth, so she doesn't have to lie or hide her talents from them. I wonder if she'll get comfortable enough to start using her abilities around the house for routine stuff? Changing channels, folding laundry, washing dishes, whatever. Low level exertion might not cause nosebleeds anymore after a while. She's doing her chores, levitating the couch and coffee table with one hand and pushing the vacuum with the other when Hopper walks through and says "Hey, what did I tell you about windows?" Eleven looks over at the picture window and the shade pulls down. Hopper nods his head and leaves the room. Just another day at the Byers house.

Becoming Mike's stepsister, now that would have been awkward. I wonder what's going to happen the first time El shows up at the Wheeler house. Will Mike's parents recognize her? Karen told Mike at one point that they understood it had been a rough year for him ... but how much do they actually know, what version of the story did they get? I also wonder how Hopper will explain the sudden appearance of his new daughter. Maybe a child he never knew about from one of his many lady friends over the years. People who know him would find that easy enough to believe. She died or could no longer take care of the girl because of her health, so she contacted Hopper and he agreed to take custody. Something like that.

I really could imagine El really hitting it off with Jonathan and Will. Its pretty much guaranteed that Joycee would be a perfect step mother for El. I wonder if Kali (or other threats like Brenner and the Mind Flayer) would show up and to threaten El's new found family? That actually would be an interesting story-line for Season 3 to see how El will deal with threats towards her new family.

Not just them either. She seems determined to help Momma and reconnect with her sister. I think 008 will see them as in the way and will become a threat

Eight didn't seem like she'd be vindictive that way. She was very careful to punish only the guilty and not hurt anyone else. She could've made the cops chasing them in the beginning hit the tunnel wall, or shown each of those officers that came into their hideout a different threat to trick them into shooting each other. She didn't do stuff like that though. I think it's more likely Eleven will need her help at some point. Perhaps if they go after Brenner. Or they may need Eight, and as many of the others as they can track down, in the fight against the Mind Flayer.

What do you mean?

All through the season they kept flashing to the monster coming and Dustin found him on Halloween. He grew fast, Will became possessed and nothing seemed to be coincidental so far. So my friends and I kept thinking Darth wa d going to be that monster.
