My wife and I are in the process of watching Frequency right now on Netflix. (Up to episode 12 so far!)
For me, the premise of the show lends itself to a "single season", somewhat like "24". It needs to have a "finish", and does not feel like it would work well if continued on into another season.

They did a pretty good job wrapping it up, so I don't think there will be one, but they did kind of leave it open for a 2nd season.
