The TV sitcom "The Great Indoors (2016-" describes in a light-hearted way the generation gap between the hypersensitive, entitled, so easily offended millennials, and the grumpy, wrinkly, all but forgotten older generations.
It tells the story of a group of millennials who work and live inside an office building, self-absorbed with online life and social networking and completely clueless to the real world outside. The older generation is portrayed by Jack (Joel McHale) and Roland (Stephen Fry). Under their guidance the kids take baby steps in the outside world, learning for example that a dating app cannot replace a real bar with real people.
And then there is Jack's boss, Roland's daughter Brooke (Susannah Fielding). What will be her role?
Stephen Fry's presence, with his some times confounding British humour, adds that extra zest to the overall cast .
