Discuss Parks and Recreation

So I just started watching it. Everyone says it's as good or better than The Office, which is probably my favorite TV comedy. I'm about 12 episodes into season 2 and it's starting to get pretty funny. Season 1 was a big of a slog though, did people find that? I found Amy Poehler to almost be unbearable the first season.

Tom Andy & Ron are all hilarous though. Andy is a bit of a cartoon though (as in I can't see someone in real life being like him), but I'm okay with that. April is also really funny.

I'm probably at the point where I'll just watch it no matter what.. but I don't find it as good as the Office... yet. Though, I heard once Adam Scott & Rob Lowe come on it gets better. I do find Adam Scott to be hilarious in other things.

Are you any farther Spreerod? I really like this show and I'm only about 3 seasons in. I like Rob Lowe and Adam Scott too. I like seeing Chris Pratt and his hapless character. I have heard it gets even better.

Yeah, I finished it. I didn't love Rob Lowe, but he had some really great lines. Andy literally gets better with every season, he ends up being my favorite character and it's not particularly close.

Overall I think it continues to get better until the last season, which I didn't love.

I like it a lot more than The Office. It's super funny to me! 😄
