Wanneer Recep Ivedik een portemonnee vindt, herkent hij op de televisie de eigenaar, een steenrijke touroperator en hotelier. Recep besluit om de portefeuille terug te brengen. Met zijn gammele autootje vertrekt hij van Istanbul naar Antalya. Onderweg ontmoet hij meisjes die autopech hebben, excentrieke vrachtwagenchauffeurs en stevige rockers. Eenmaal in Antalya, mag hij uit dank voor het terugbrengen van de portemonnee voor onbeperkte tijd in het vijfsterrenhotel blijven logeren.

Ook in de nieuwe aflevering van Recep Ivedik heeft hij weer veel avonturen voor de boeg. Zijn oma, die net zo behaard is als hijzelf, en heel graag Playstation speelt, wil dat hij werk vindt, een gezin sticht en respect verwerft. Alleen dan erft hij het enige bezit van zijn oma: een geheimzinnige kist. Om deze wensen te vervullen belandt Recep van het ene avontuur in het andere, tot hij aan het einde werkelijk de kist in zijn handen houdt. Hierin bevindt zich iets onverwachts.

Als zijn oma overlijdt, is Recep ontroostbaar totdat een meisje dat verre familie van hem is en een huis zoekt, bij hem intrekt en zijn leven verandert.

Als het veld waar hij jonge voetballers coacht, wordt verkocht, doet de klunzige Recep mee aan een realitywedstrijd op tv om geld te winnen en het land terug te kopen.

During his visit of condolence to Ismet's funeral, Recep Ivedik feels sorry about Ismet's remaining family members due to his latest unfinished job contract which would cause hard financial situation for the family. Therefore, Recep decides to finish Ismet's last job by replacing himself as a bus driver and to transport group of athletes. Although Recep and his accompanying friend Nurullah were expecting this could be a short trip, they learn that it is not because they have to transport young national athletes to sports organization in a foreign country. This becomes the beginning for them to have irreversible adventure. When they are on the road, unfortunate things happen and crisis appears for the team. Recep, who believes only in victory, takes control of the situation and develops his own methods in order to make the team successful while he face with all funny events.

Recep İvedik is at home watching television, when postman brings him a surprise invitation for the annual dried beans festival of Konya province. Very excited with the news, Recep convinces his best friend Nurullah to join him but due to a miscommunication with the travel agency, they get plane tickets for Kenya, Africa, instead of Konya, Turkey. After arriving at Kenya and getting on a safari tour, our hapless companions find themselves lost in endless savannah and at the middle of two rival local tribes. Many adventures await Recep in this unfamiliar and exotic land, who will try anything and everything to return home, mostly to hilarious results.

Recep is de dure, drukke stad zat, en reist met Nurullah naar het dorp waar het huis staat dat hij van zijn oma heeft geërfd. Busra, een advocate uit Istanbul, parkeert haar stacaravan naast het land van Recep. Eerst klikt het niet zo tussen die twee, maar voor ze het weten belanden ze in een spannend avontuur om het dorp te behoeden voor een groot gevaar.
