Dora Márquez es una niña de 7 años que, junto a su amigo Botas (un mono de 5 años) emprende en cada episodio un viaje en el que se propone buscar algo que perdió o ayudar a Botas a cumplir con alguna misión. Siguiendo un formato que en parte recuerda el de un juego interactivo para computadora, en cada episodio Dora pide a sus amigos televidentes que le ayuden a encontrar nuevos lugares utilizando a Mapa, que de hecho es otro personaje, y le ayuden a solucionar las dificultades que Dora se encuentre en el camino. Otro objetivo importante que persigue el programa es la enseñanza amena de elementos del idioma inglés a los niños de habla hispana (en la versión original de la serie Dora enseña elementos del español y de la cultura latinoamericana a sus televidentes angloparlantes).

Anne: The Animated Series was a half-hour animated television show produced by Sullivan Entertainment and created by writer/director/producer Kevin Sullivan. The series was developed for PBS and each episode contained an educational aspect. Each show had a problem for one or more of the show’s characters to face and solve. In conjunction with these problems, PBS “Ready-to-Learn” guides were created for teachers in America to use in the classrooms. The educational objectives of the show support a child’s development of his/her identity, reinforced through lateral thinking and the use of a child’s magnitude to absorb daily challenges, and it also appeared on some VHS tapes from Lyrick Studios, HiT Entertainment and Nest Family Entertainment.

More recently, Sullivan Entertainment has re-written the “Ready-to-Learn” educational guides for the not-for-profit organization Free the Children. Free the Children will implement these Anne Lesson Plans in the Kenyan Schools they have built and hope to take them to other countries they work in around the world.

The Little Lulu Show is an animated television series, based on the Marjorie Henderson Buell comic book character Little Lulu. The show was produced by CINAR Animation after Marge's death in 1993, and aired on HBO Family and Cartoon Network in the United States and on, CTV, and the Family Channel in Canada from 1995 to 1999. In Canada, reruns are currently being shown on both the English and French versions of Teletoon Retro. The series centered on the life and adventures of Lulu Moppet and Tubby Thompkins. Between stories, they showed stand-up comedy that Lulu hosted.
