July 31, 1900

While our photographers were crossing the Atlantic Ocean a most wonderful and sensational picture was secured, showing a storm at sea. The picture was secured by lashing the camera to the after bridge of the Kaiserine Maria Theresa, of the North German Lloyd Line, during one of its roughest voyages. The most wonderful storm picture ever photographed. Taken at great risk. (Edison Films, 1901)

April 29, 1922

A man is found dead on the small German island of Sylt. There is speculation that it may have been a murder, motivated by romantic jealousy. The man who is to be accused of the crime becomes despondent and aimless, abandoning his wife and children.

A British playboy in Paris marries a dancer and convinces her to give up her career to move to a small cottage in the country. One night at a party given by her former manager, she is persuaded to perform one of the dances she was renowned for. That leads to a fight with her husband, who runs out of the party in the middle of a raging storm. Her subsequent search for him ends up placing her life in danger.

A married farmer falls under the spell of a slatternly woman from the city, who tries to convince him to drown his wife.

A conniving weasel, seeing Mama leave, disguises himself as a doctor and comes calling on the unattended chicks.
