La ragazza, dopo l'ennesimo scontro con la madre, decide di abbandonare la roulotte e riceve ospitalità da Riquet. Il bisogno di trovare un lavoro continua però a tormentarla.

Uno sguardo dettagliato al graduale declino del distretto industriale Tiexi di Shenyang, un'area che un tempo era un esempio vivace dell'economia socialista cinese.
