An unusual, real-world romance involving relatable people, with one catch - there are three of them! You Me Her infuses the sensibilities of a smart, grounded indie rom-com with a distinctive twist: one of the two parties just happens to be a suburban married couple.

Valérie Blais explores the secretive world of those that professionally offer pleasure, comfort or intimacy in Quebec. More than twenty escorts recount their stories, and some of the unusual, a little crazy, or downright troubling client requests.

Focusing on five disparate characters who each toil and/or party well into the night (hence the title), this latenight entry takes the “city that never sleeps” line and runs with it. The result is visually provocative but only mildly entertaining, and never for a moment truly convincing.
