Στον αντίποδα του Van Wilder βρίσκεται η Gwen, μια σοβαρή φοιτήτρια και δημοσιογράφος της σχολικής εφημερίδας. Της έχουν αναθέσει - παρά τις αντιρρήσεις της - να γράψει ένα άρθρο για τον «βασιλιά Van Wilder». Για τις ανάγκες του ρεπορτάζ θα μπει στη ζωή του, για να ανακαλύψει τελικά την αλήθεια πίσω από το μύθο.
