A mid-life crisis tale about the unlikely chairman of the English department in a badly underfunded college in the Pennsylvania rust belt.

Pontus, Mats, Olle and David. Four friends in their 40s who are restarting their lives in different ways when they thought all the choices were made. The main roles are played by Gustaf Hammarsten, Shanti Roney, Erik Johansson and Jacob Ericksson.

The “chef” follows an unemployed high-tech worker who fights to keep the talented chef relevant and starts working in the kitchen of a well-known restaurant that fights to keep its name at the top of Tel-Aviv’s super-competitive gastronomic world.

Mockumentary based on the life of Israeli-Arab writer and journalist, Sayed Kashua, creator of the series 'Arab Labor'. Kataeb, Palestinian writer and journalist living in Israel, loses interest in writing his successful series and instead wants to write a series on a 40 year old going throw a mid-life crisis he is experiencing. As a Palestinian and Israeli he confronts with questions about identity, national definitions, as well as his relationships with his family, and the society and country he lives in.
