Wealthy local personality Malcolm Winfield was mugged walking through a park late at night with Ronald Hamilton whom he had met at a club earlier in the evening. Hamilton was unharmed in the attack. The victim's wallet was found later on at the home of Derek Clark and Sharon Cox, tucked inside a record player. Winfield says that Clark and Cox attacked him that evening. Hamilton is also accused of the same crime - the prosecution argue he was a male prostitute who willingly took part in a plan to entice Winfield to the park where his former house-mates could rob him. All the defendants deny the charges. Clark and Cox say this is a case of mistaken identity - they simply found the wallet in the park and were going to hand it in to police the next day; Hamilton says he was forced to assist the others who would have made public his sexuality had he not done so.

Rick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple in All the World is an American-Canadian stop motion animated sitcom created by Q. Allan Brocka, who also acts as director. It is a spin off from Brocka's 1999 short film of the same name, and debuted on the LGBT focused Logo network in July 2007 and on the Canadian Teletoon's late-night programming block "The Detour" that October. The show premiered in the UK on E4 on 17 September 2008 and in January 2010 on Virgin 17 in France.

After the first season aired, Logo renewed the program for a second season, which debuted on November 11, 2008.

The animation of the original Rick & Steve shorts were done using Lego blocks and figures, prompting a lawsuit from the company. Though the series no longer uses Lego blocks, it still draws comparison to both them and those by Playmobil.

It is produced by Toronto-based production studio, Cuppa Coffee Studio. Currently, there are no further plans for a third season of Rick & Steve.

Junjou Romantica: Pure Romance, stylized as Junjou Romantica ~Pure Romance~, is a yaoi series by Shungiku Nakamura. Shungiku Nakamura has written a spin-off to Junjou Romantica, titled Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi focusing on a shōjo manga editor and his first love, which was also animated by Studio Deen in 2011.
