I know it was suppose to be this Cinderella moment when she walked into the dance, but didn't it look tacky. I usually love eighties fadhions, but it didn't have the glamour or glitz needed for the scene

Totally agree with you. She must have watched Gone with the Wind, and got the idea of using her curtains. Awful dress.
