I was just thinking about this movie the other day and how much I loved it and how popular it was when it was released in theaters. Lovely romantic comedy and the theme song is beautiful as well. I will give it a re watch. RIP Dudley Moore.

Correct. This film and its theme song do deserve high accolades from AFI and everybody else.
Guess that just goes to show that "When you Get Caught between the Moon and New York City," the "Best that You Can Do" is to wait for Arthur to Do as he Pleases, and Here he Pleases All.
Four songwriters collaborated to create the wonderful "Arthur's Theme," Christopher Cross, Burt Bacharach, Carole Bayer Sager, Peter Allen
Christopher Cross deserves a lot of credit for his wonderful vocal performance, as do Liza and Dudley for their great acting talents, as wonderful as ever.
