I really liked this movie, so what other anthology horror movies would you recommend? I think I've seen the second one, are any of the sequels any good? Some of the other films like this that I have seen are: Trilogy of Terror, Cat's Eye, Twilight Zone: The Movie and Trick 'r Treat(which I also really liked).

Tales from the Darkside: The Movie was decent. I think it was originally conceived as Creepshow 3.

Holidays, A Christmas Horror Story, and Tales of Halloween are worth checking out. When there are multiple directors involved, the quality is always a little uneven, but I thought these three were pretty entertaining overall. There's also Southbound, which I personally didn't really like, but a lot of other people did.

Yes those old Amicus Production 'portmanteau' horror films are brilliant. I especially like 'Asylum'.

Tales from the Hood. I haven't seen it in years but I remember it being alright.

Night Train to Terror - not very highly recommended due to its incredible cheesiness but a couple of the stories were ok. If I remember right the first one had Richard Moll as a maniac butcher type, that was enough to give it a nod.
There's also the more extreme ABCs of Death, again not something I'd give high marks to but there are a few segments worth checking out. You just have to wade through a lot of crap as well.

I found ABCs of Death hard work...gem to turd ratio very unfair.
Just remembered Body Bags which is ok and From a Whisper to a Scream which I've not seen but have been told is excellent.

Ooh good call on Body Bags, I damn near forgot about that movie it's been so long. Sounds like I need to revisit...and yeah you're right about ABCs, definitely more on the turd side. I actually would have liked to have seen a fuller-length version of "V" which was one of my favorites, and pretty impressive considering the 5k mandatory budget.

The pilot of Rod Serling's "Night Gallery" is basically an anthology film in its own right. I enjoyed it tremendously, especially the first segment with Roddy McDowall.
In fact I'd highly recommend that series to any fan of anthology horrors.

Another anthology film worth mentioning is "Grim Prairie Tales" with James Earl Jones and Brad Dourif.
but its setting in the old West makes it quite distinct.
It's no masterpiece

Has anyone seen Chillorama? One of these days I'll get around to seeing it.
