Gabriel and Robert have been together for three years. Robert is hiding their relationship from the world. Gabriel wants the opposite: he would like everyone to find out how much he and Robert love each other. One day, Natalia, a girl with whom Gabriel had a one-night stand three years ago, pays them visit. She brings a little girl Amelia with her and leaves the child with Gabriel. Later, Natalia calls and tells Gabriel that Amelia is his daughter.

Gabriel und Robert sind ein modernes homosexuelles Pärchen aus Polen mit sauber verteilten Rollen. Während Robert zur Arbeit geht, wo er von Chef wie Sekretärin bedrängt wird, spielt Gabi daheim die Hausfrau. Und neuerdings auch die Mutter. Ein trunkener Partyflirt einige Jahre zuvor hatte nämlich Folgen, und die stehen jetzt vor der Tür und gehen auch nicht wieder weg, weil die Mutter zur Gastarbeit gen Westen floh. Wohl oder übel müssen sich Robert und Gabriel mit einer vierjährigen Tochter arrangieren.

Przez telefon informuje go, że to jego córka...

Gabriel e Robert estão juntos há três anos. Robert esconde do mundo a sua relação. Gabriel quer o contrário: ele gostaria que todos pudessem ver o quanto ele e Robert se amam. Um dia, Natalia, uma mulher com quem Gabriel passou uma noite há três anos, visita o casal. Ela aparece com uma menina chamada Amelia, deixa-a com Gabriel e vai embora sem que ele perceba. Logo depois, Natalia confessa a Gabriel que Amelia é sua filha.

Homo father (2005) es una peli de tema LGBT polaca sobre la relación de pareja de dos hombres gays y la adopción. La película plantea con ironía el tema de la adopción en las relaciones homos y el problema de ocultar su orientación de género. Gabriel y Robert son hombres jóvenes que están juntos durante tres años. Robert no quiere mostrar al mundo su relación, porque tiene miedo de que le perjudique en su trabajo. Gabriel, por el contrario quiere mostrar a todo el mucho que se aman, ya que es muy desinhibido y no oculta su pluma. Un día en su casa aparece Natalia, con la que Gabriel hace tres años tuvo un breve romance. Natalia le trae una niña llamada Amelia, que deja al cuidado Gabriel. Más adelante, Natalia le infoma por teléfono a Grabiel que la niña es su hija. El film está realizado por Piotr Matwiejczyk, un director polaco poco conocido fuera de su país, lo mismo que sus intérpretes protagonistas: Dawid Antkowiak (Robert) y Bodo Kox (Gabriel).
