Demon Seed has the distinction of being the only book I ever read in a single day. I found it to be quite the page turner. I often wondered what it would be like on the screen. Is it streaming anywhere?
The movie - creepy AF. I couldn't look away from it!
Yeah, Dean Koontz often referred to as the poor man's Stephen King, actually did produce some creepy stories here and there. He just didn't bat with quite as high on an average as King but this one I really liked. I gotta check out this flick.

If you live in the US & have a library card, it is streaming on Hoopla.
I liked it. Some really cool ideas were tried, like the shape-shifting polyhedron. The very idea of the film is cool and although it was panned in it's day for being too unbelievable I think most would admit that none of it is too far-fetched anymore (automated homes, robotics, genetics and organ cloning advancements, etc, etc). The AI-control angle alone warrants a remake. And the ending, hearing baby say "I'm alive", was great. 👌 8/10 for me
