1) Actors are sometimes slightly too well-known to be believable as these important Biblical characters (not George C. Scott as he was not that, that famous till a few more years later with Patton).
2) The story of Noah in the Bible has scientific accuracy in the dimensions it gives to make the ship(ark)--those are excellent dimension for a great cargo ship. (See my other postings on Bible being scientifically accurate indeed!)
3) The ship of Noah in film also takes on the not-usual look of a square , or actually rectangular, enclosed wooden boat. Memorable in film.

That middle posting with the link shows how the Genesis description of Earth's foundation is scientifically accurate. That is how planets form!
