Wanneer een arbeider vermoord wordt aangetroffen tijdens de bouwwerkzaamheden, verandert het onderzoek al snel van criminele zaken naar de politieke omstandigheden rond het gebouw zelf. Wijdverbreide corruptie en verwaarlozing door de bouwer zelf zouden de situatie hebben veroorzaakt. Een groot deel van de film is gefilmd met handcamera's, en het merendeel van de dialogen vindt plaats in het moeilijk te begrijpen en zeer slangachtige Spaanse dialect van de metselaars in Mexico-Stad.

When a worker is found murdered on the construction side, the investigation swiftly turns from things criminal to the political circumstances surrounding the building itself. Widespread corruption and neglect by the builder himself are seen to have brought the situation about. Much of the movie is filmed using hand-held cameras, and the majority of the dialogue is in the difficult-to-understand and very slangy Spanish dialect of Mexico City's bricklayers.

Cuando se encuentra a un trabajador asesinado en el lado de la construcción, la investigación cambia rápidamente de lo criminal a las circunstancias políticas que rodean al edificio en sí. Se considera que la corrupción generalizada y la negligencia del propio constructor han provocado la situación. Gran parte de la película está filmada con cámaras de mano, y la mayor parte del diálogo está en el dialecto español difícil de entender y muy vulgar de los albañiles de la Ciudad de México.
