Tijdens het hoogtepunt van het toeristenseizoen loopt de rivaliteit tussen de manager van een ietwat chique restaurant en de eigenaar van een nabijgelegen fastfoodkraam behoorlijk hoog op en worden er schoten afgevuurd. In deze komedie wordt het restaurant met ijzeren hand gerund door de 'beschermheer', en de hulp heeft er uiteindelijk genoeg van. Alsof dat nog niet genoeg problemen zijn, zijn de kinderen van de eigenaren van beide etablissementen romantisch verwikkeld, wat de hartstochten van de ruziënde voedselfanaten nog meer woedend maakt.

During the height of the tourist season, the rivalry between the manager of a slightly fancy restaurant and the proprietor of a nearby fast-food stand becomes quite heated, and shots are fired. In this comedy, the restaurant is run with an iron hand by its "patronne," and the help eventually have had enough. If that weren't sufficient trouble, the children of the owners of both establishments are romantically entangled, further infuriating the passions of the feuding food fanatics.

La patronne d'un petit restaurant s'oppose au propriétaire d'un fast-food. Dans une petite ville de Belgique vouée aux touristes de passage, une guerre s'allume brusquement entre la patronne d'un restaurant trop débrouillarde à détourner les cars vers son établissement et ses concurrents. On se chamaille entre sauce béarnaise et tomates farcies, on s'affronte par poubelles interposées, on se balance du steak à la figure!
