These war images taken in the Aurès-Nementchas are intended to be the basis of a dialogue between French and Algerians for peace in Algeria, by demonstrating the existence of an armed organization close to the people. Three versions of Algeria in Flames are produced: French, German and Arabic. From the end of the editing, the film circulates without any cuts throughout the world, except in France where the first screening takes place in the occupied Sorbonne in 1968. Certain images of the film have circulated and are found in films, in particular Algerian films. Because of the excitement caused by this film, he was forced to go into hiding for 25 months. After the declaration of independence, he founded the first Algerian Audiovisual Center.

Ces images de guerre prises dans les Aurès-Nementchas sont destinées à être la base d'un dialogue entre français et algériens pour la paix en Algérie, en montrant l'existence d'une organisation armée proche du peuple. Trois versions d'Algérie en flammes sont réalisées : française, allemande et arabe. Dès la fin du montage, le film circule sans aucune coupure à travers le monde, excepté en France où la première projection a lieu en Sorbonne occupée en 1968. Certaines images du film ont circulé et se retrouvent dans des films, notamment des films algériens. À cause de l’émoi provoqué par ce film, il est obligé de passer dans la clandestinité pendant 25 mois. Après la déclaration d’indépendance, il fonde le premier Centre Audiovisuel Algérien.
