What will be Spider-Man's role for Infinity War?

Since Tom Holland is confirmed to reprise his role as Spider-Man for Infinity War. We know he is filming a scene with Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Pratt which I assumed they are in a planet.
People are already speculation about him getting a Symbiotic suit since he have a dot on his face and he is SPACE!
So what will be his role for this one?

A symbiote? Never thought of that but what a great way to plant a seed for future TRUE Venom. Would they waste any screen time here for such a thing given that it would basically benefit a Sony film down the line???

That's actually a logical possibility. They could loosely adapt Secret Wars and have him gaining the symbiotic suit while on another planet in order to battle more efficiently. Then the next Spider-Man movie could depict him struggling with his new black suit and eventually lead to a properly done Venom. That would be most excellent.

I can't imagine how any one role will be big. I'm thinking it will be more "guardians" than "avengers" this movie. thanos is more familiar to the gotg. But I'd expect part 4 to be more earthbound. Imo

Maybe Peter could lose Gwen in this installment. His identity gets out and he sees the error in registering with the government or has his identity known. He may even be used in setting up the hobgoblin storyline after the war. Anything can happen while his origins are fleshed out.

I don't think it will be more "Guardians" than "Avengers" but I don't know how they will give everyone in the cast a decent sized role. I also worry about editing because it will be a while before everyone is together (if it's even possible to get them all on screen at the same time), so there will be many cuts between the different plots on Earth and in space.
