Well, to be fair, she did not have any resources, or any other members of the cast. I actually pitied her in that scene. Deep down she knew no one was going to show up, and then those people talking about her. Emma Stone's acting was wonderful in this film!

She was. Some people complained about her singing, I thought it was on point as it was not bland and unemotional. Acting + singing (without any editing or auto tune) = amazing performance. Ryan Gosling's voice I thought was not as good, but I thought that his voice was smooth and soft enough and his charisma, charm, and chemistry with Emma made up for it.
