Overview
劇情講述北宋初年，大將軍楊繼業率部迎擊遼兵。金沙灘一戰，楊家幾乎全軍覆滅，只有五郎、六郎殺出重圍。奸臣潘仁美陷害楊家謀反，於是派重兵將楊府包圍。五郎負傷逃至荒野，轉至清涼寺出家為僧，苦練成「八卦棍法」。潘仁美勾結遼將圍困五臺山，國恨家仇在胸，五郎單槍匹馬下山，以八卦棍擊斃遼將及奸臣後，遠赴天涯，宏揚武學佛法。
